TMLT declares 10 percent dividend, saving policyholders $12.3 million
DIvidends have saved policyholders approximately $401 million since 2005
March 12, 2025
TMLT policyholders will receive a 10 percent dividend for the 2025 policy year when they renew their policies in 2026. The dividend — declared by the TMLT Board of Trustees in March 2025 — will save policyholders approximately $12.3 million in premium.
This is the 21st year that TMLT has declared a dividend, saving policyholders approximately $401 million since 2005.
Dividends are based on expiring premium and are applied to the renewal premium the year after they are declared. Policyholders will receive information about their dividend before their policy renews.
Other policyholder rewards and discounts
While dividends are one way to save on premiums, TMLT also offers automatic premium discounts to policyholders with favorable claim experience. Discounts range from 2% to 20%, depending on length of time you have been with TMLT.
Policyholders who complete a qualifying 2-hour CME activity may be eligible for a 3% premium discount applied to their next eligible policy period. Two courses can be taken for the discount, for up to 6% per policy term.
Complete a practice review and earn a 5% premium discount after review recommendations are met. This discount continues through the current policy plus two full policy periods.
Trust Rewards is a loyalty program for TMLT policyholders. Each year funds are set aside for eligible policyholders in their Trust Rewards accounts. Funds accumulate and are distributed as a lump sum upon retirement, disability, or death. Check your Trust Rewards balance. (Log in required.)
